Here is my grocery list of the top food to gain weight fast and build muscle.
These the top foods I get pretty much week in and week out to gain weight and build muscle (not fat).
I cover the food I get to satisfy my protein requirements, carb requirements and “Good” Fat (Essential Fats) requiremtnts.

Good advice on the importance of VARIETY in your diet and suggesting the OMEGA 3s.
BAD advice on telling people to eat that Ham and Cheese for protein. Only someone with NO nutritional knowledge would suggest those “food” sources. That ham is loaded with pure sodium and pork is BAD for you, and that cheese is not even a real food substance – it’s PURE chemicals. You gotta be kidding? AND you left out the GREENS.
But overall – thanks for sharing your info. Some was bad and some was good.

@Blitzkrieg19922 – A fast acting carb raises insulin levels very rapidly generally comes back down quickly. e.i. grape juice, white bread, cane sugar, gatorade, etc. a bad carb is pretty much the same just used in a different context. Fast acting carbs & protein are great post workout because you’ll replenish your blood and muscle glucose levels quickly and since your insulin level is high, your protein will be more efficiently shuttled to your muscles. e.i. Gatorade& protein. hope this helps!

Good info but I expected better quality protein. Like lean steak instead of lean ground beef, turkey breast instead of ham, pepperjack/provolone cheese instead of fatfree American cheese. And as far as fruits and vegetables, fresh ones from the produce section is the best. Another thing you forgot to mention for the starches part is russet, red skin and sweet potatoes because they are really helpful in bulking up the right way.
